This beer was last brewed about 20 years ago and is brought back especially for the Wetherspoon real-ale festival 2016. It is deep golden in colour, with a pleasing hop aroma, leading to a rich, smooth and complex flavour and a refreshing hoppy character.

25/7/2025. Cask at The Harwich Redoubt Beer Festival 2025. 4.5% abv. Fruity, malty, biscuit aroma. Sour edge, quite dry. Fair.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of sweetish, red berry fruits, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had sweet, digestive, malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask @ The Lord Moon of the Mall, London. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and a little dark fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 230316

Cask handpull at Victoria Spoons. Clear amber brown colour lasting beige head. Biscuit bitter. Some yeast some red and peach fruit. It’s a standard fruity juicy bitter. Some bitterness on the finish. OK condition ok

2016 - Cask at the standing order. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, marmalade. Taste is sweet, more orange on the finish.
