This beer was last brewed about 20 years ago and is brought back especially for the Wetherspoon real-ale festival 2016. It is deep golden in colour, with a pleasing hop aroma, leading to a rich, smooth and complex flavour and a refreshing hoppy character.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of sweetish, red berry fruits, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had sweet, digestive, malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Good.
