2016 (Feb) catch up - 2 bottles at home - It was ok, but I wouldn’t rave about it. Didn’t get the range of flavours that I had with V1 which blew my mind. Alcohol well hidden though and some of the tropical flavours were coming through.

Bottle from Thirsty, Cambridge. Bright yellow, hazy with very little head. Smells of papaya, mango, buttercream, a hint of posset. Bittersweet taste. There’s a prominent bitterness is the hop which has an overlying juicy sweetness. Body is full and carbonation is spot on. Phenomenally boozy finish, but at the same time dangerously drinkable.soft citrus and sweet herbs in the aftertaste. Absolutely lovely.

Bottle thanks to Joe! Pours hazy golden butterscotch, beautiful. Medium creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is a hint light, but bursting with tropical fruits, melon, mango, hints of pot, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, juicy as hell, tropical and a bit dank. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Really really good.

Bottle shared @Mad for Beer (Rome), gift from Massimiliano (thanks guy!). Pours golden with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, mango, light onion, malt, nice! Flavour has a medium to high malt profile, medium sweet with a medium to strong bitter end. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Wow!

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Cloudy honey coloured pour. Rich aromas of tangerine, marmalade, orange pith, pineapple. Huge fruit burst in the flavour. Lots of sweet juicy fruit. Very tasty.

Bottle at Brauhaus. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - mango and lime. Resin and herbs. Taste - mango and lime confirmed. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. It drinks lighter than the alcohol. Overall - a well nailed example of the style.

Bottle shared on Level 42 9/3/16. Huge thanks to Daniel for this scope. Translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is big dank citrus, East coast, tangerine, juicy hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, hint of caramel, dank hop, tangerine, juicy, hint of mango. Palate is semi sweet, frothy, grainy, juicy sticky hop. I like it a lot.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Sunday 13th March 2016 Warm gold on the pour with a light haziness. Soft mouthfeel, a tropical beery fruit salad in the mouth, with melon, sweet and juicy soft fruits (not sure what yet) a touchscreen of heat from the abv, tickling the gums. This gets very good once it warms a little, the flavour and aroma really leap out, this despite the overwhelming smell of cooking (we’re on a cooking frenzy) this is very good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, pithy, mango, slightly bitter. This was very good but not quite as good as the first batch which had me singing from the rooftops, I had 4 thirds of this one so it was still very good.
