33cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of floral malt, ripe fruits. Taste of spicy and floral malt, some metallic hops, tart fruits, strange!

(Draught at Delirium Tap Bar, Brussels, 18 Oct 2015) Hazy golden colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, canned fruit, pears and hay. Malty, fruity taste with notes of wheaty malt, dried fruit, grass, bread and a balanced grassy, spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy golden, big white head. Nice aroma of fresh peaches and apricots, light spice, some honey and alcohol. The taste is simple, fruity sweetness, spicy alcohol and phenolic bitterness. Mediocre.

Nice crisp, clear golden coloured body with a thin, single centimetre tall pure white head - clear for a tripel. Aroma of bread, yeast, coriander seed, curacao, honey, alcohol, strong malt and a bit more bread and yeast. Full-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a good honey and sweet flavour, some light apricot and pear flavours, a touch of grain and hay, but a pleasant malt and wheat component and a little coriander seed freshness as well. Aftertaste shows a nice sweet finish, but the yeast comes through, but balanced by the grass and herbal elements. Overall, a nice beer showing almost more of a singel or plain blonde belgian, but a bit of the honey and yeast comes through near the end. Still, great to sample and enjoy a true belgian beer. I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle purchased from Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 18-January-2015 for €2,50 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the Atlantic on 19-July-2015.

Aspecto de tripel. Pajiza turbia. Bastantes cosas buenas. Aire fresco en la tradición belga.

Tap at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a chewy yeast, grass hop, alcoholic palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle through Belgoklubben. Clear to semi-hazy deep golden, big white quickly dissipating head. Aroma of fruity esters, citrus, yeast, sugary, malt, yeast. Taste is citrus, yeast, sweetness, fairly good bitterness, banana hints. Medium to big body, medium to high carbo, texture is kind of rough and sticky. Solid, not a perfect tripel but I certainly don’t get the metallic hints some reviews down.
