Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - fresh orange with some toffee and malt lurking in the background. Taste - more fresh citrus and the malt is more noticeable. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - itโ€™s balanced if not that exciting.

500ml bottle on Virgin Pendolino to Edinburgh. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of lemon and hay. Taste has a touch of green apples, light sweet, light grassy bitter finish. Glad to have tracked this down, but not massively impressed.

500ml bottle on a Virgin Train, Euston to Wolverhampton. Very pleasantly surprised to spot the Redwillow cap in the fridge when looking for this beer. Itโ€™s an easy-drinking pale with a nice hint of juicy lime and citrus to settle you into the journey.

Bottle - a surprise find on the Virgin Train on a trip from Euston to Manchester. A British Pale Ale according to this bottle, pours a pale golden colour with a small white head. Initial sweetness gives way to citric bitterness. Not bad, helped the train journey go a little quicker.

Bottle from Treacle Tap; bright amber pour with thin white head, light citrus hop aroma, crisp malt taste with a hint of citrus hop, very clean tasting would work at 125mph.
