Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma is lightly alcoholic with pale malts, bread and a fruityness. Pine cones too. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and with a nice carbonation level. Resins, generic and tropical fruityness and some pale malts and spent pale grains. Decent bitterness, lasting for a good while. Lasting fruityness. Not very interesting this one. 160213

Craft Clapham. Route 66 event with most of the London crew. Bottle kindly shared by Sir Tom the Cad. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Sweet pale malts, little sugary sweetness. Modest dried fruits. Some floral sweetness. Light finish. Not bad but should be more interesting from it’s deScription.

The taste is crisp, bitter, boozy, white grape, gooseberry, lime, toasty grain and honeyed cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Unique. Not bad.
