Bottle at WTF 3. Pours a clear orange with thick off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong apple skin, yeast, pure sugar, brandy. Medium body, light yeast, strong apple brandy, nice sweetness, very good.

From a 0.75l bottle @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. A golden cloudy one with a nice medium sized white sidesticking head. Smells of apples, and strawberries. Really summarily. Almost like a cider actually. Strong flavors. More apple cider, some wood hints. It's grassy with light sour leafs. In the mouth it's about about average on the bubbles and mild oily on the texture. Quite mouthrying - near astringent with green grapes in the finish. A really different and tasty one. 03.05.2014

A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, lacto, wheat, and straw, leading to a bitter finsih.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 4. Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds sugary pale bread, subtle fruit accents. Big sweet flavour, with lots of doughy bread, citrus fruits, light alcohol presence. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, sticky sweet. Pretty good beer.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Light hazy orange color with off white head. Malty, yeasty and hoppy aroma, caramel, fruity, apples, citrusy fruity, spicy, light funky. Sweet and bitter taste, acidic notes too. Medium almost oily body with flat carbonation.

What the Funk, Denver, October 2014. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a thin light tan head. A little on the boozy side. Some pears, apples, and bananas. Light wood. Kind of heavy spirit taste. Also, some notes of caramel and almonds. Maybe the first barrel-aged Westbrook release that I didn’t enjoy.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, green session. 03/05/2014. Clouded bright orange coloured pur with a nice lasting white head. Aroma is apple, some booze, some caramel and toffee. Palate is highly carbonated, gassy, harsh carbonation. Flavour is apple, belgian yeast and some fruity yeast esters. Pretty clean and crisp. Nice triple with a decent complexity.
