Bottled. Red colour with a small pinish head. Aroma is herbal, some rosehip, mango, dried apricot as well as some slight floral notes. Flavour is rose hip, red berries, some herbal, grainy and mild yeasty tones to it. Aroma was promising, but flavour was a bit on the bland side of things.

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, dense, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, herbal and spicy aroma, hints of apple, bitter orange, a touch of juniper. Taste is dry, bitter herbal, hints of juniper, bitter orange, vermouth. Meh.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy pink red beer lasting pink head. Fresh aroma like cucumber. Some red fruit. Lovely fresh fruit aroma. Wiw that’s a bit of fun. A Campari saison. The saison is there but quite subdued. Fruit salad. Fresh. Not perfect but quite likeable the fruit is entertaining. Sweetish finish. Ok.

Bottle at home in London - source from the brewery. Pours clear red with a billowing, light pink foam head. Good aroma, with some herbal notes, maybe rosemary, some orange peel, grapefruit. Light to medium sweet flavour with lightly tangy citrus fruit, some rindy bitterness, pine needles, hints of pale bread, orange, lemon, grapefruit, hay. Light bodied with lively, mouth-filling carbonation. Somewhat warming on the finish, moderately sweet, with more tangy citrus, some biscuits, oily orange peel. This is a really fun concept beer, and it hangs together well. Quite enjoyable.

Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, 20/11/15. Cherry red with a well appointed crimson covering. Nose is light spice, herbal tones, peppermint, pissy knickers, balsa wood, red berry. Taste comprises juniper berry, herbal remedies, spice, wooded notes, red berry tinged, citric laced straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a fairly intense bitter scrub. Decent ... pulls off the negroni well.
