Tap at the brewery tap room.
Dark brown, almost black, but a slight ruby hue, with a medium mocha heat. Good roast aroma, charred malts, solid dark coffee. No heat, of cayenne found at all. Cocoa in the finish, ample amounts of coffee, with some light soy, again, no pepper at all.

Can split at LKS 15K Tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 02/11/15. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dark malt, biscuit crumble, trace of spice, dates, figs. Taste comprises light cocoa powder, earthy, herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a peppery spice trace. average stuff.

Craft Clerkenwell. LKS 15K bash. Thanks to Wingman. Can. Almost clear dark brown - red beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin tangy dark malts, some lactose. Some warming spice. Light dry finish. Dull and thin.

Can thanks to Dirty Davey. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The is rich, spicy, bitter - sweet, umami, liquorice, dark chocolate, earth and dirt. The taste is bitter, earthy, umami, toasty, earth, mild acidity, good chilli spice, spice creeps up on you and some roast with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty alright, but quite spicy.

Can kindly donated by Karol. Very dark colour. No head to speak of. Aroma toffee, chocolate, sweetish. Taste is simple kind of milk stouty in the beginning. Then the chillies explode all over the place. Fortunately not overtly intense. However it is too singledimensional in my eyes. Boring. Only toffeeish malt in the beginning and chilli later with little to none balance. Flat, lacking carbonation. Good though.

Can from thr LCBO. Dark cola colour with a tiny khaki head.Nose of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla with some smokiness. Light sweet roast start with a light bitter base and mild spiciness that ends up in a quite warm peppery finish. Medium sticky mouth that is quite chewy. Good, with the heat from the pepper not overpowering.
