Clear amber with a frothy / bubbly white head and a soft caramel malt aroma. Smooth and clean, with a touch of creaminess, it’s a little bit fruity and a little bit malty with some floral hop bitterness and a dry finish

Cask at Spoons, Eastbourne. Sweet, nutty aroma - like the Georgian walnut grape strings. Mahogany colour. Walnut on the taste but also wet lager malts. Close your eyes and you could be fooled into thinking it's a southern European macro lager. Not great.

Cask at Friar Penketh, Warrington. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Aroma has a melange of malts, nuts and autumn fruits. In the mouth it is sweet with a slightly watery texture. Malts lead the flavour over a caramel base. Later on there are some floral hops and summer fruits, leading to a slightly bitter finish. This is OK, but nothing special [ “premium strength @ 4.5% - who are they kidding ?! ]

The flavour is moderate to light bitter sweet, with a light, watery, light fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
