Crowler. Kegged 7 days ago and poured today. Enjoyed at fridge temp in a snifter. golden brown. Smells great. Juicy, west-coast with a little pine needle and copper. tastes just like most other west coast IPAs but honestly, I remember the boneyard beers I had while in Portland OR to be so much better. I don’t believe the kegged 7 days ago comment anymore but it’s still okay. it has lost its edge a bit, a bit more pine forward than juicy. Wish it was better.

Just hitting Vermont for draft, this came to Winooski Beverage and I got a growlette of it.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy to off burnt orange color with a thin to almost thick white foamy atmospheric head. It quickly dissipated. No lacing.
The aroma starts off with a bright sweet to bitter charging grapefruit pulp and rind bursting into subtle sweet orange and lemon.
The flavor starts sweet and rides into a nice bitter backing. Aftertaste seems just about as perfect as I would have wanted for an AIPA with a slow riding almost cloying finish. Is it? No, not really.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it allowing the carbonation to play nice and smooth as well.
Overall, as an East Coaster I can put my hat off and say yup, here’s that West Coast AIPA that takes the cake. Worth the hype, damn right it is, so find out for yourself, get some.

On tap. Pours a dark copper with moderate head. Aromas of grassy toasted malts with a hint of fruit. Flavors of biscuity malts, dried fruit and bitter grassy hops. Ok but expecting more.

Bitter, floral, touch piney. Has a firm, biscuity malt backbone and a splash of alcohol. Fairly straightforward traditional west coast IPA

Have had this many times. On tap pours golden topped with a white head. Nose is big pine citrus hops some tropical notes a nice caramel malty sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy pine citrus hop combo and a nice malt balance.

On tap at Sassy’s. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is dank and tropical fruit. Medium mouth, juicy hop, tropical fruit, light bitterness, crushable, very nice.

On tap at TCBW 2016. Clear golden to amber with an off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with tropical fruits, malt and caramel. Medium sweet, but we’ll balanced, nice fruity and hoppy flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Balanced and tasty IPA.
