Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th February 2016. Crystal clear light amber with thin, disappearing off-white, part-lacing foam. Herby, grassy hop aroma. Zesty orange citrus, grapefruit and savoury nuttiness in-mouth. A nutty, grassy finish with a zesty citrus tang. Full-bodied with a smooth, slightly clingy texture. Rated as a novelty ale, thouroughly superb.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Amber-yellow with a small head. Hopped will tropical fruit flavours, with orange citrus dominant, but not overbearing.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - I get oranges. Is that why it’s called Valencia? Taste - yep more orangessomething lightly stalky and a clean zesty finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - balanced and tasty.

Cask, The Clarence, New Brighton. Clean golden colour with a nice lingering white head that left a good amount of lacing. Grapefruity/grassy hop nose. Flavour had similarly prominent juicy citrus notes and some very tidy hop bitterness going on. Very drinkable and tasty stuff. Nice one.
