Cask at the William Dampier, Yeovil, 13/07/16. Translucent yelloe with a moderate off white head of bubbles. Nose is sweet, pear drops, straw. Taste comprises pear jus, apple skin, light varnish, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Ok for a perry if a little overly sweet for my liking.

Box @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Very pale golden cider. Tangy with an initial sweet burst, it becomes drier thereafter. There’s candy in its nose.

BIAB at William Stead JDW Darlington. Pale yellow colour, no head and sickly floral peary aroma. Taste is pear, candy, sugary sweet plus some sour lemon rind. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy pear finish. OK.

500ml bottle from somewhere I can’t remember. Pours a very pale pear flesh yellow. aroma is sweet pear drops continuing to the taste with a sharp perry pear character. Perhaps a little too sweet for me.

500ml Bottle - Yellow with a slight haze. Pears and a hint of syrup in the aroma. The taste is sweet and slightly tart. Very refreshing.

Cask at the Wandsworth Common Spring BF, London. Pours pale, light hazy yellow with a faint film. Sweet and sweaty nose. Medium sweet flavor, very tart with some vinegar and candy. Light in body with soft carbonation. Tart, sweet finish, lightly sweaty with vinegar. Mild pear notes. It’s like some kind of sour pear candy. Pretty decent.

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Yellowish golden colour with no head. Aroma is sweet pear with some mild tart wooden, fruity and mild vanillaish notes. Flavour is rather similar with also some vinegary notes to it. A bit thin as for the palate, so could do with a bit higher abv.
