In many sports the FREERIDE represents pure fun, a sense of freedom, spiritual communion with nature and open spaces: in a word, unconditional joy. Hops are the absolute protagonists of this beer, which is our recurring dream, addiction and care. Our lust for hops will find redemption from the worries whenever we can bring our lips closer to this beer. Pale orange colour, citrus and floral scents very eye-catching. Hops are the absolute protagonist of this beer, which has aromas of mango, tropical fruit, grapefruit, bitter orange and has balsamic nuances.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE11/2015 - L336, at Konttori, 20150808) The beer poured clear and amber. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A musty pale ale.

Explosive head build-up; to stable, dense, fine, yellow foam; orangeish tinted clear golden beer. Hoppy nose, faint citrus, garden herbs, bit dusty, cray. Surprisingly sourish, vivifying flavour, citrus again, lemonpeel, lemonbalm. Very carbonated, fizzy, light body. Good IPA, easily drinkably, refreshing, attractive. But a Westcoast? Don’t think so.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with huge, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of hay, lime and lemon, lemon zest. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, grassy, husky, some hay, lemon, lemon zest; prickling carbonation. West Coast IPA? I don’t understand: a Freeride on a surfboard from the Emiglia Romagna to the Ligurian Sea?

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange color, huge soapy white head that looks ugly and lasts forever. Aroma is not at all what I expected. Brett, some yeast, a little sweaty. Taste malts, again a little sweaty, yeasty, brett, bitter. Very fizzy carbonation, average body. Not good at all imo.

Orangey in appearance. Floral, perfumey aroma. Flavour has bittersweet stewed fruits. A bit of a weak finish.
