Lingering malt sweetness is balanced with smooth bitterness throughout. Barley sugar notes and an unmistakable Cascade nose.

Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds damp grains and old orange rinds. Light sweet flavour, very grainy, with light minerality, pine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, with hints of oily pine, more husky grains. Meh, not great.

(Cask at Craft Beer Clerkenwell, London, 22 April 2016) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, orange peel and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, apricots, canned fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well made pale ale, not straying too far from the average. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is toasted grain, cereal, bread, straw and dull honey. The taste is pretty simple, lightly bitter, toasted grain, cereal, earth, oiliness and light spice. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit grainy and sweet for my liking. Sub-standard APA in my opinion.

Cask gravity at Colchester BF 2011. Clear gold thin white head. Lovely American hoppy flavour. Really good hops good golden ale or really a proper APA given the hop and strength. Very decent
