Our black india pale ale. Marmalade and pine aromas lead to roast and spice flavours followed by a bitter coffee finish.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - dark toffee with red chinks. Nose - caramel and liquorice. Taste - mainly liquorice and toffee again. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet sweet and tangy texture and a pleasant dry finish. Overall - Tasty beer.

Cask at Three Judges, Glasgow - Deep brown to black body, thin tan head. Nose is tangy fruits, roasted malts, and a bold hoppiness. Slightly bitter at first taste, a little piney with some dark cake fruit bitterness. Well balanced with a nice solid oily mouthfeel. Very good.
