Schönes IPA, das auch geschmacklich mal etwas aus der Reihe tanzt. Hat hinten irgendwie noch so einen kleinen Zwirbler. Sehr lecker.

TASTE: initial medium hop flavor with pine, ripe fruit. neutral malt background, medium, with slight sweetness. medium-high bitterness with a dry finish. 355ml can. Opalescent, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow-white head. Rather expressionless, hoppy aroma, pale malty background, hints of... I don't know... nothing; hops somehow... a touch of grass, straw, gooseberry, but really weak. Taste is flabby, expressionless hoppy, some grass, minimally sweet, biscuity malty basis, moderate hop bitterness. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine but efficacious carbonation. Very anaemic, almost flavourless; nice malty basis, nice bitterness, all in balance - but somehow empty, flavourless, a mere framework without charge.

Can @ Beresford Arms, San Francisco. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass, little earthy, fruit, citrus. Flavor is sweet, very lightly bitter, malt, grass, fruit, little parfumey, citrus. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, quite sweet finish. Strange, not really a fan. 170718

Can, from City Hops. Pours cloudy golden with foamy off-white head, faint lemon aroma, low carbonation, bitter grapefruit taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Quite a bitter West Coast IPA.

@Darbys. Cloudy, bit of a dull sandy colour. Pours with a pretty thick head. Aroma is piney and earthy. Taste is about the same...piney, chewy and unfortunately some diacetyl lingering in the background. A bit of alcohol taste in the finish along with tha
