Draught @ Beer Run. Opaque dark brown with very small frothy dark beige head, sharp woodsy bourbon aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter woodsy mocha taste with strong bourbon overtones, smooth thin body, long finish. Well covered ABV.
Wooo boy, that’s got a kick!

Bottle at Mikkeller Warsaw, thx Greg. Coffee bean pour with a medium brownish foam. Nose: great feel of nutty chocolate cream, Nutella, vanilla intensive milk shake, crazy aroma of vanilla, no alcohol invasive feel, no crazy barrel. Fantastic. Mouth: decently carbonated, bourbon now comes up but not alcohol out of it, frizzy, a good match between bourbon and a vanilla stout.

(2016 bottle from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours pitch black with a few rapidly dissipating tan bubbles. Aroma of loads of earthy coffee and especially vanilla cream, Coffee Crisp candy bar, caramel malt, chocolate, soft bourbon. Flavour of dark caramel, vanilla, sweetened cold brew, much more bourbon than the nose, moderate chocolate, almost a peppery/spicy heat to it, a bit of wet wood, light ashy roast. Fair amount of spirit heat drying the finish down. Medium-bodied, feels a little thin but also rather paradoxically chewy, very soft carbonation. Quite good but I think the age might not have been kind to it because it's not god-tier, heavy on the vanilla relative to coffee.
