Bottle from my cellar. Inky black pour, small foamy beige head settles out to thin ring. Boozy, warm aroma with notes of chocolate. Taste is sweet with a huge boozy kick, roasty, chocolate. Lingering heat. 4 years have been kind to this beer.

12 oz bottle from Firestone in Paso Robles. Nose is tobacco, cocoa, bourbon, and vanilla. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet, with a little pepperiness.

Well stored bottle tasted June 2025. Pitch black body under a dense beige head. Nice aroma of dark, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, wood, some Bourbon, vanilla and dry fruit. Taste is medium sweet smooth, strong dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dry fruit, Bourbon, wood, vanilla and balanced bitterness. Full bodied with a long, long lasting, warming aftertaste. So nice and so smooth. Delicious.

Аромат классический для Русского Имперца, сухой, жженый солод, немного черного шоколада, кофе, бочка. Вкус сухой, черный шоколад. Намного больше кофе чем было, оно плавно раскрывается на финише, прям бобы кофейные местами. Снова жженки немного от солода, бочка умеренная. В целом хорошо и классично.
