0,5 L glass at Zum Augustiner. Pours a clear, pale, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is caramel, straw, white sugar, and lovely floral hops. Sweet and malty, with the perfect amount of bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, clean palate. This is a simple, easy, and perfectly balanced beer.

Bottle. Color: Clear pale golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Malty, hints of caramel. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, hints of caramel, bread, grass, grain. Light bitterness. Metallic hints. Thin body, average carbonation. Not my kind of beer.

Lovely Dortmunder, a tasty, easy-drinking mix of fruity lager yeast and grainy sweetness, with a subtly floral Noble finish. Nuanced; the citrus-apple notes layer nicely with a mild pilsner-ish middle atop biscuit and straw. Finished dry but manageable, with hints of clove and grass in the fade. Very, very easy to kill a pint. Nice.
