Brilliant white tight bubbly head stayed on a clear, pale golden body. Pale malt, floral & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back. Clean tasting with yeast, bitter fruit, faint hops & earth & sweeter finish.

On tap at Augustiner Keller Biergarten in Munich. First night in Munich. Pours pale yellow and slightly hazy with a long lasting foamy white head. Aroma is grain and lemon. Taste adds some honey and noble hops. A bit on the sweet and malty in middle. Quite flavorful and refreshing. Tasted on 8/14/19.

Bottle. Malty orange-aroma, just a bit soapy. Malty taste with slight orange and cherry flavors. Full bodied beer with a clean palate, but rather bland. Tap, Gasthaus in Pfronten-Ried. Flowery aroma with a hint of butter. malty, buttery, flowery flavor. Flour in the mouth. Medium to full bodied. A helles in the best tradition. (6 3 7 3 12 is equal to 3.1)
