One of our most aggressive and sought-after offerings. Bold bourbon, tobacco and espresso aromas and a hint of American oak greet the nose. Rich, chewy roasted malts, charred oak and bourbon-like vanilla fill the palate and create a seamless finish. A remarkably complex brew that offers a transcendental drinking experience – enjoy with good company.

Sweet and boozy, roasty, really dry. Coffee and chocolate, no sign of barrel. Wouldn't say it's gone bad in any way but likely seen its best days. Still pretty nice though.

12 oz bottle. 2019 vintage no 10. Pours a dark brown color with a small khaki colored head that slowly recedes to a fine film and ring. The aroma is strong with dark fruits, chocolates, and vanilla. The taste, like the aroma, is rich with dark fruits and chocolates in the forefront, and molasses, vanilla and bitter pecans filing in the back and sides. The palate is smooth and creamy with soft carbonation. Finishes medium in duration and slightly sweet. Overall: Top shelf shit y'all. Paired well with a robust Gouda cheese.

Bottle picked up from Beer Republic Webshop, Breda, Netherlands and consumed at Wohnmobil Stellplatz Bahnhof, Mittenwald Saturday 5th November 2022 listening to Rufus du Sol on Tidal, we have had a great day with Rhys up Karwendel and walking around Mittenwald and then onto Lautersee. Pours black with a slim tan head. Nice aroma, mostly chocolate but roast malts and subtle bourbon wafts. In the mouth this is super indulgent, chocolate, fudge then a little chocolate brownie and with a little boozy edge. Again maybe not as good as some that I've had from these guys but it's still very good.

Vintage No. 14. A black beer, a head is mediuma nd yellowish beige. Aroma has strenght, liquorice and salt liquorice, bourbon, caramel, some dried fruitness and sweetness, prune and raisin, light and dry barrel and vanilla. Taste has strong maltyness, liquorice and salt liquorice, barrel, caramel, light bourbon. Ful bodied, very smooth, not stickyness. Huge beer. Powerful, smooth, drinkable, complex.
