Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt amber color with some transparency; two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy to floral hop setting with a clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together leaning towards more of a bitter level; slight sweet tones of the hops underneath; finishes with the floral hops and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness on the tongue but also some astringent hoppiness
Overall: this is an old school DIPA that I didn't mind so much for me but I understand the kids these days won't like this.

Can, from the Railroad street location. Pours clear dark amber-copper with large foamy off-white head, faint piney aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter resinous taste with faint citrus flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Decent, but the Citra effect is not very obvious.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s gaff. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Spicy orange and tangerine, touch of lemon. Some generic fruit into a tangy bitterness. Light dry finish leaves a spicy linger. Nice.

Can shared in Hackney - picked up near Buffalo. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Decent snout, some ripening citrus fruits, piney notes, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with nips of white grape, melon, tangerine, a little piney and rindy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous finish with moderate bready pale malts, hay, ripening citrus fruits, melon, tangerine, some bitter pine. Good one, if a little old-school.
