Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017. Cheers! Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds lemon, tangy pear. Light sweet flavour, moderately acidic, with more tangy pear, lemon. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, with notes of tart pear, more lemon, some other jammy citrus, quenching acidity. Nice one.

Another beer I tried at the 3rd Cotteridge Tasting on 20th May 2017. Hazy golden pour, thin white topping. Sour pears in the name, sour pears in the nose, in the mouth and in everything else really. Not my thing at all. Scored objectively.

Keg @ Smithfield Tavern, Manchester. Pale yellow-green with a haze, and no head. Has a steady soured nose, with a mid-fizz activity in the palate. The pear isn’t too noticeable, its just a sour which isn’t overly sour in its fruitiness.

Keg at the Old Coffee House. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh ripe pear, juicy, mellow sugars and light kiwi fruit. The taste is crisp, tart, fresh, juicy, ripe conference pear, sherbet and lactic tang with a dry, tangy finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Rather well done - tart, fruity and very drinkable.
