Bottle from Home Bargains. Clear gold with small white head; pretty standard but looks ok. Aroma of artificial strawberry, metal, some light dusty hop; doesn't bode well. Taste of pale malt with a hint of confected strawberry becoming tangy near the finish, dust, reasonable bittering hops at the end. Easy drinking to be fair. Light bodied, dry. Tastes better than the aroma suggested. Not great though.

Clear golden colour with lasting soapy head. There's a sweet fruity element in the aroma. After reading I see that it's strawberry, certainly believable. It doesn't come through so strongly in the taste. That is more classic, hoppy bitter.

Opalescent golden colour, moderate sized creamy ecru-ish head; aroma and taste of strawberry, some floral and bready notes; not that bad

this is all about the strawberrys but not too much else, I'm not sure what happened to the hops. Someone else said its like strawberry sauce you get on ice creams, and it kind of is with a slight maltiness and bitterness. Shame they didn't think to put any flavourful hops in to balance the strawberry.

[50cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with tight cream head and light carbonation; artificial strawberry aroma; artificial strawberry taste with a biscuity malt body; and nothing to follow apart from a harsh chemical bitterness - still waiting for the hop explosion!

# 2808; 3/2022. Aroma of arteficial strawberies. Clear gold body; lacing white head. Strawberry, lemon, herbs, detergent. Weird beer. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Lincoln, (Lincolnshire, England).

Bottle from my local off-licence ‘Wine Rack’. Pours a clear copper/amber colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of strawberries and a touch of caramel. Taste has more strawberries upfront, a little caramel, biscuit and an earthy hop finish. Thin to medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. I wasn’t that keen on the strawberry aroma but it actually tasted quite nice and i appreciate the hops coming through at the end. Not a bad effort for a fruit beer.

Bottle, courtesy of my nanna-in-law. Pours clear gold. Strawberry, fairly cheap strawberry, cracker, touch of sulfur, something a bit odd in the finish that I can't put my finger on. Medium body. Not particularly well made. Also no idea why this has the word hop or commotion in the name, as there's no hint of citrus hops, nor the promised explosion.

That's a lot of strawberries! This was more like a fruit Bergeron Belgium and it really wasn't for me. I need bitterness!!!!!!
