From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate and coffee, hoppy notes. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Caramelish and light breadish. Toasted, bitter and phenolic. Light butterish. Dry roasted and breadish into a bitter finish.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, green session. 03/05/2014. Viscous dark caramel coloured pour with a medium tan head. Aroma is smoked malts, peat, roast. Flavour is smokey malt, roast, burnt toast. Palate is sweet, moderate carbonation. Lingering harsh ashy roast.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, some smokey hints. Finish malty-sharp with some notes of pepper. Interesting beer!

Draught @ CBC 2014 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Alpha State Larsens Ruin ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light burnt. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration´, sharp, malt and hop bitter, roasted, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140502]

Draught at CBC 2014. Opaque black liquid with a medium tan head. Aroma of diacetyl, chocolate, licorice and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of butter and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty ridden with butter.
