Tap @ CBC, 14. Very dark brown with tiny head. Aroma is malt, light roasted malt, oak, wood, caramel and chocolate. Flavour is malt, light roasted malts, alcohol, caramel, oak, spirit and warming.

Draft @ CBC 2014. Pours an amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody spicy aroma. Fruity malty spicy woody caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy woody caramel finish.

Draught @ CBC 2014. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruits, light spice, wood, alcohol. Flavor is caramel sweet caramel, dark fruits, plums, bitter wood, spice, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, warming alcoholic finish. Abit to boozy. 020514

[5/2/14] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. 2nd session. Murky dark brown. Aroma of malt, roast, wood, a bit of alcohol, caramel and some fruitiness. Sweet flavor, alcoholic, with spicy wood, chocolate, roast, caramel and some fruitiness. Full-bodied. Good, just slightly too boozy.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Session 2. Pours clear amber with a foamy, off-white head. Very boozy, hot, with some rich fruits and heavy malts. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Hot finish with big, bready malt character and accents of dried fruits. OK, but the alcohol is far too present.

Sampled @ CBC 2014. Very dark brown to black color, off-white head. Aroma is very boozy, liquor, wood, malts. Taste is incredibly alcoholic, it really overpowers every other flavor that is or could be in there. Totally off balance.

Tap at the Copenhagen beer festival... Deep brown... Thin tan lacing... Boozy malts nose.. Meaty malts... Deep rich sweet toffee fruits... Big barlywine tones... Bit too heavy

Sample at CBC 2014, Blue Session. Poured a murky dark brown with a thin whispy white head. The flavour is strong bitter with a massive boozy alcohol palate and not much else. This beer is all about the alcohol and thankfully I’m not.

Draft at CBC 2014. Pours dark brown with ring beige bubbles. Aroma of caramel, booze, alcohol, toffee, fudge and malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
