Brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Cornish Tea. This fragrant saison was brewed with huge amounts of Lemon Verbana tea and a small addition of lemon thyme.

568ml bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A slighlty hazed pale amber pour with a loose white head, moderate carbonation; and a stunning aroma of fresh lemon thyme; the tate is herbal, with a full-on woody thyme body, and some softer lemony notes; then a sharp dry finish with a touch of tannin. This is like being hit in the face with a bunch of thyme - nice beer.

Keg @ Tilt. Pours a misty amber, white head. Aroma is moderately sweet floral lemon. Taste is smooth lemon curd, zezty with some citrus and floral notes. Certainly flavoursome and just hits my sweet spot.

Also at Matteo’s Au Revoir. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine crispness. Lovely floral lemon, lemon sherbet sweets, piney lemon. Trace of tangerine. Light finish brings a little spicy lemon. Sparkling saison - lots of lemony goodness. Now do a Sorachi DIPA with these ingredients please!

Keg at Barbridge, Stourbridge. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange with a small head. Aroma is spicy tea. Taste has tea to start and a spritzy yeast finish. A bit too fizzy.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of lime jelly, nuts, lemon and herbs. Flavour of burnt orange, juniper berries and parma violets. Thin body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. Savoury and unusual. Disjointed.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; slightly hazed amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has thyme and yeast action, taste is very floral almost like chomping on a bouquet, backed up with some citrus, not one for me, but was refreshing.

Bottle shared in London / thanks to Kenny. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds. Strong thyme and lemon grass in the nose, some yeast, dry dough. Light sweet flavour with heavy herbal character, juicy ripe lemon, some Pine Sol. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with somewhat gooey citrus, zezty lemon, orange peel, more doughy wheat, lemon grass. A decent novelty beer.
