From can thanks to bursprak my man :) Thanks buddy. Pours thick juicy light milky orange. Pineapple fuckin haze. Smells like tropical haze. Literally. Huge pineapple, tangerine, mango fuckin dankness. Holy shit. Taste follows. Dank, tropical, lots of pineapple, mango, tangerine, passion fruit and a grassy bitter finish. Wow!

Can at the Matteo Farwell Tasting, 20/02/17. Hazed orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is dank hop, pissy tropical pulp, mango, grapefruit zest. Taste comprises cantaloupe melon, pine, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, light white peppery spice, dank hop strokes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with semi dank hop bitterness. Solid DIPA but this one didn’t quite stand up against the regular DIPA series for me.

500ml can. Pours murky, muddy, opaque orange, medium white head. Aroma of exotic fruits, passionfruit. Taste is super smooth with mushy mango, passionfruit, peach with a confident pineapple / grapefruit bitterness. Enjoyable but a bit messy and needs a little more clarity of flavours.

Matteo’s Ciao @ Craft Islington. Thanks to the team for the can. Cloudy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth airy dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Light dry sweetish malts. Nibbly hop spice that builds in strength. Chalky minerals. More hop spice. Mellow tropical fruits. Little orange and lemon. Tangy bitterness. Some orange peel on the finish. Bitter linger with that strong hop spice almost burning. Seeing the scores for this one I was anticipating this one hugely, but it never reached the stratosphere. It’s a very good DIPA but no wow factor for me. Strange!

Can from The Beerhive. Murky butterscotch body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of pineapple, spring onion, nectarine, mango and pine. Flavour of nettles, sweet melon, green banana, peppery hops and a bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Very hoppy and bitter. The tingly, spicy finish lasts for ages.

Can at Matteo caio tasting Craft Islington. Hazy cloudy gold lasting white head. Dank hop but some fruit too. Aroma is good. Lots and lots of hops. Just way too much for me. Too much hop but better than the dipa 12. More fruit comes through. Tannin. Like chewing hop flowers. Hmmmm.

Keg at Cotteridge Wines tasting room; murky golden yellow pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has big juicy resinous pine and mango pulp, taste has loads of tropical hop action, oily pine, dank undertones, decent IBUs, pine needles, melon undercurrent, tangerine, some pineapple.
