650 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of oily black coffee, ashy roast pepper, and dusty roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, ash, hot peppers and roasted malts. Quite a bit of a burn - which is quite distracting.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with loads of roasted Serrano pepper, light coriander, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with smooth hot pepper, nice vanilla extract, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. Bottle from Gloria Rakowsky, tasted at ratebeer Quebec gathering 2016.

$7.99 big bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours black with a small head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and definite peppers. Taste is a creamy chocolate-coffee with some vegetation that slowly creeps up with a nice back-end heat.

Sample at Winking Lizard Westerville during the "Get Green with Green Flash Night" event on 05/17/2016. Brown-black color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, coffee and peppers in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate malt and serrano pepper. The finish is roasty and peppery. Above average overall.

Dark brown color. Intense baker’s chocolate, Serrano pepper, coffee and dark fruits in the nose. Full bodied, slightly sweet, but well balanced, nice amount of heat but never over the top and the Serrano peppers are very apparent and deep. Super fantastic bakers chocolate and pepper finish that goes on forever. One of the best pepper stouts I’ve had.

pitch black color. The nose doesn’t have such a prominent chilli character and is a bit subdued but the mouth is burst with fudge, dark chocolate character with pepper lightly hitting the back of your throat. Really nice balance on chocolate and chilli pepper. Lingering chocolate finish with pepper just lingering.

On tap at Chuck's Hop Shop in Seattle-USA. Pours black color, brownish head retention and lacing. Nose: bitter cocoa, chili pepper, Christmas cookies. Mouth: terrific, velvet coffee, mocha and the chili is so redundant and proper. Top ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Stone. Thanks to Sakamoto-san! Huge milk chocolate forward nose, lots of roasted cacao nib and light espresso notes as well. More chocolate on the palate with baked chocolate and then it hits you. The chilli peppers hit the palate and the finish and then really linger. They actually meld pretty well alongside the chocolate notes. Hides the abv well. Very good.

On the bottle, best by date of 04 Sep 16.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one finger white to off white foamy head. Light lacing running here and there.
The smell started off with the Serrano chili spice blending nicely with some milk chocolate.
The taste was basically the same, but came off a bit more leaning towards the spice. Milk chocolate is there, but not too much. Some of the roasty coffee bean comes out lightly. But the aftertaste and finish seem to be all about the Serrano chilis.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a pure sipping quality about it due to the chilis coming across the way they do. Carbonation seems to definitely run light enough to allow spicy heat to pretty much overtake the feel, damn, this comes across super hot all around,
Overall, good imperial stout for the qualities Green Flash wanted. But the heat part, yeah, they could tone that back a bit. There’s nothing \"delicately spiced.\" Sorry, Green Flash, I’m calling party foul.
