Can at L42 - thanks to Leighton. It pours clear yellow -gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, juicy, candied peel, sugared brioche and lemon sherbet. The taste is dry, quite clean, lemon - lime, sugary, candy, lemonade, pine, resin and marmalade. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I wish it was more vibrant, but it drinks easier than it should. Decent enough.

Growler split at L42, thanks to Leighton, 23/08/17. Clear golden with a well appointed off white cap. Nose is straw, caramel malt, biscuit, orange pith, old school notes but clean and fresh. Taste comprises grassy bite, airy malts, toasted grains, grapefruit, orange pith, peach whisper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy hop bitterness. Decent more than serviceable DIPA .. old skool in character but clean and vibrant in the execution.

[2/2/17] Draught at Harpoon Brewery in Boston. Yellow. Citric hops, slightly sweetish, bitter finish. Nice and quite easy-drinking for DIPA.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a bronzed golden color exacting a sly transparency and some carbonation is seen rising to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipates at a decent pace. Some messy lacing.
The aroma pushes out some citrus to tropical sweet hops turning over some grassy bitter hops. Sly sweet malt but somewhat with an acceptable level of sugary sweetness.
The flavor starts off with the bitter to sweet hops, some tropical and citrus pulpy tastes flow into a semi-sweet to bitter uncombined aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping to sessionable quality about it. Moderate carbonation.
Overall, I liked this for me. But can see some people not totally be enthralled with it. The aftertaste doesn’t fully absorb properly, should I count that as a flaw? Well, I ended up just accepting it. Some sugary sweetness in the aroma seemed clean. Yeah, possibly again.

Draught at Article 24, 8/3/16.
Clear, brassy-gold body is topped by a medium-sized white head that quickly recedes to cover.
Some minor tropical fruits, but nothing terribly juicy. Mostly a lot of grain, grapefruit and pine. Rather crude/crass and mostly dull. Nothing expressive, bright or juicy. These guys just can not figure out how to make a hoppy beer that tastes like it was brewed after 2005. No alcohol, or flaw, some resin.
Again, rather dull, with candy-sweet malts, sharpness and resin from overboiled hops and bare, lifeless citrics. Old/tired and stale, despite it not being so. Aggressive carbonation, very little softness from anything. Quite alcoholic. Gross.

From a crowler. Pours deep gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Caramel, resin and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet butterscotch, toffee and caramel upfront turning to mango and pine before the lasting grapefruit pith finish.

Draught @ Albion. Clear rich yellow with small foamy off-white head, malty aroma, sweetish taste with malt flavor, very little bitterness, medium carbonation, thin body, medium long malty finish. Does not feel like an IPA at all.
