Wethersoon Autumn Beer Festival 2017. Cask @ Beckett’s Bank, Leeds. Clear copper with a small glow and a carbonation. It’s lighter textured than its strength suggests with a good hoppiness and an inoffensive spiciness that lingers.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 13/10/2017. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some floral hops, sweet malts and a hint of spice, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

19th Oct 2017: third of a pint in my local Wetherspoon pub. Golden orange pour, off-white topping. Light citrus notes in the floral aroma, malts appear in the taste, but this is a floral hop centric brew and I didn't really take to it.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - hazy amber with a thin head. Nose - burnt toffee. Taste - more burnt toffee and some burnt bread. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - more of an ESB. It grew on me.

Cask at the Willow Walk, 13/10/17. Very light haze on a golden orange pour with a well presented egg shell white head. Nose is tangerine, toasted grains, bitter citric rasp, grass. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, tangerine, bread dough, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced mellow hop bitterness. Solid cask pale ... could crush pints of.
