330ml bottle. Hazy pale orange/straw colour with a two finger off-white head. Aroma: fruity and juicy, citrus, orange, grapefruit. Taste: juicy fruits, citrus, grapefruit, slightly sweet pale malt. Moderate carbonation, medium bodied, bitter finish but overall nicely balanced. Good stuff.

Can from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Hazy pale golden with a thick frothy head. Crisp pale ale, with only a mild dryness. Its tropical fruitiness is however full with a good citrus edge to it, including grapefruit and pineapple. Has a good nose too.

Bottle from the Wine Boutique, Felixstowe. Poured a clear golden orange colour with a medium size white head. Aroma of hop, malts, citrus fruit and grapefruit. Medium sweetness, heavier bitterness. Medium body, quite thin texture, and above average carbonation.

Tap @ Flandes. Clear golden coloured with a fluffy white head. Nose is citrus, light malty, fruity. Flavou is light malted, hay, citric, grapefruits. Fairly dry.

L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello è di schiuma compatta, cremosa e aderente, con bollicine fini. Sotto la carbonazione è piatta. La consistenza del liquido è velata. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile e presenta nuove sfaccettature. L’amaro è deciso. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate per una birra ben bilanciata. Il finale è amarognolo, pulito, dissetante e complesso. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L’aroma in bocca ha i sentori di resina, frutta secca e agrumi.

Almost neutral background with a slight sweet malty presence. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. moderate white head, creamy, with medium to good retention. TASTE: moderate hop flavor similar to aroma, dominating the presentation, with floral / tropical notes (mild passionfruit, faint grapefruit). Almost neutral grainy malt background, with a very faint sweetness to support hops. Moderate bitterness that lasts beyond a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with moderate carbonation. no hop astrngency. OVERALL: a very nice American Pale ale with good hop presence, good drinkability and with a more neutral malt presence.
