Degustada en su cáliz, color oro anaranjado, espuma blanca y fina. Aroma a cereal, malta, levadura belga, plátano especias, repostería, fruta de hueso madura...En boca es sedosa, equilibrada, muy sabrosa, notas dulces y alguna cítrica de entrada con final amargo. Una muy buena cerveza, otra trapense imprescindible.

Bottle on the Nieuw Statendam. Nose is caramel, biscuity, cloves, and a hint of banana esters. Lightly hazy golden with a medium, lightly lacing, cream colored head. Flavor is lightly sweet and fruity with hints of cloves and cinnamon.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 06/2023) into it's proper glassware at home. Haven't tried this since before joining Ratebeer so it's long overdue. Clear golden orange with white head. Belgian yeast, esters, mild spice, a little sweet overall. The quad is great, but the tripel is just okay.

Bottle. Mostly clear golden amber, nice fine head. Nose is complex estery syrup. Flavor is sweet, malty, smooth bitterness at the end. Great caramel overtones with a lot of complexity. Classic!

Eingetrübte gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, floral hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, floral hopfig, fruchtig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer bis voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
