A series of dual hopped West Coast India Pale Ales. No.4 combines tropical Ekuanot with the piney, mango rich Simcoe. Easy on the malt and with a balanced juicy finish the hops are very much the star of the show. We've upped the ante with increased dry hopping levels for this version. The result is a blockbuster, hop forward IPA in the finest traditions of the West Coast.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. As Odyssey Ego Wars Ekuanot v Simcoe. Pale gold with a light haze. Half an inch of dense, glossy topped, lasting, clinging, bright white head. Looks the business. Nose has a load of peachy, ripe and soggy tropical fruit. Some ripe citrus. Some dank and sappy Simcoe in the background. A little estery and fruity yeast character to it. Taste has some sappy sweetness. Light, pulpy citrus bitterness. Clean and bright mouthfeel. Smooth and airy. Soft carbonation. Pithy and juicy citrus to finish. Wow. Where did that come from? Odyssey living up to the initial hype. 8585-17
