Description on the label:

15th May 2018, 33cl bottle in the sun, sat on the rear garden area of the Bier Paleis, Brugge. A mini session with the wife of six different beers between us. Hazy golden orange body, good white crown on top. The aroma had a yeasty front with some fruity esters backing the yeast up. Taste also yeast first and foremost, again backed up by some fruity notes, slight herbal/spice twist to the overall flavour.

Clear deep golden colour, tall frothy white to off-white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, bread, yeast, spicy notes. Taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, toffee, yeasty, alcohol notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy, caramel, bready, peppery on the tongue, warming alcohol, medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Interesting interpretation of a Belgian strong ale, good blonde with attitude.

Bottle from a Carrefour. Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains yeast, bread, citrus, hops, apple and 'jenever'. It tastes medium malty sweet and medium spicy bitter; yeasty, dry finish and an alcoholic bite. Medium body, slick/creamy texture, fizzy to lively carbonation. Pretty straightforward, yeast and alcohol invigorate the taste here.

From 33cl bottle. Pours golden, partly hazy worth very abundant white foam, fairly irregular. Aroma is dominated by yeast esters, body is medium, rather liquor-like, very carbonated. Taste starts with some sweetness, but after that all you feel is alcohol. Finish is medium, with a mix of sweet and bitter.
