Orange marmalade flavours are quite up front.... Sweet and sticky with a very bitter hopiness. Good mouth feel, and regular card. Finish is quite bitter with some resinous hop notes and more sweet orange marmalade flavours. Not bad at all. Barrel aging notes are nowhere to be found though.

Bottle at LKS - thanks to Colin / Sharon. It pours clear orange - amber with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is quite sweet, oily, bready malts, tangy orange and some metal. The taste is dry, tangy, bitter - sweet (but mostly sweet), oily, sugary, candied orange, tangerine, sticky and some bread. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty OK for I&G, I have had worse.

Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Colin. Pours clear, bright gold with a small, frothy white head. The aroma holds simple pale bread, melon, ripening citrus. Light sweet flavour with hints of paper, dried pale malts, grains, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, more basic pale malt character, straw. Very basic.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Sharon for the bottle. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dry malts, some grain. Dry mild spice. Little ripe orange and orange peel. Trace of pine. Dry spicy peel finish. Interesting but a little dry and grainym

Bottle from Sainsbury's and drunk at home for NYE. Mid- to dark gold, hazy with a wrinkly wave of white head on top. There's some jammy citrussy hop aroma, but this is overshadowed by a sulphury note. Bittersweet taste with a pleasant herbal taste, but there's that damn sulphur note again. There's a good beer in here somewhere, and I love the hop flavour, but it's got too many issues to be truly savoured.

Clear golden, white head. Very light fruity smell. Taste is light citrus and orange with a bit of a bitter hop aftertaste. Totally unplanned but it went quite well with my a Christmas pudding.
