Like the mighty Unicorn this IPA is powerful yet delicate. A strong malty body is balanced out by the citrus and floral notes of the New World Hops with an intensely bitter finish. No Unicorns were harmed in the making of this beer.

Keg at Schilling Brewing Co, Glasgow. Orangey gold colour, white foam head and tropical fruity hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel, biscuity, with mellow orange and grapefruit hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub, Glasgow 15/6/2017. Pale gold in colour, and slightly hazy, with a decent, white, head. Yeasty stone and tangerine fruits, floral hops, sweet rich tea malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Keg at Shilling Brewery Co, Glasgow in the company of Nick and Anna 19th May 2017 Hazy warmth with a slim white head, fruity but with a tinge of butter on the nose, fortunately this doesn’t filter through into the mouth, it has a raspy bitterness underpinned with citrus. Pleasant fruity beer with a nice bitterness. A5 A4 T7 P4 Ov12 3.2

On keg at Shilling. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - disconcerting sherbet but this was advertised so job done. Light spice and bread. Taste - new sherbert and bread. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - ok.

Keg at Shilling. Pours clear golden with a light haze and a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Not a right lot going on, but OK.

Keg at Shilling Brewing Company. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange pith and grapefruit. Flavour of sharp hops and a tangy, steely finish. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. It smells nice but, for me, the taste lacks balance - it’s mouth-puckeringly sharp/sour.
