From tap at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Dry and funky with Saison yeast, peppery spicy notes, bit fruity with citrus, touch of lemon and white wine, grass, lightly pale malt. Medium body. Tart and light bitter, nice dry and funky. Excellent.

(Draught at Dynamo, Brussels, 19 Oct 2019) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with citrus, lemon, grapefruit, coriander and hints of barnyard. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of grapefruit, green grapes, lemon peel, coriander and a dry and slightly yeasty finish with low bitterness. Medium body, dry. A bit different, but a really tasty and well made saison with some funk going on in the background. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color ale with a nice large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of rustic malt notes with light peppery yeast undertones is quite pleasant. Taste is a mix of rustic malt notes with some peppery yeast notes with light hay undertones. Body is about average with excellent carbonation. Classic style saison which is great and unfortunately always underrated.

Bodney Towers bottle share. Thanks to Mr Tips. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Fluffy malts bring a light creamy sweetness. A touch of gueuzey sourness. Some winey grape and dried fruits. Smooth finish brings a mild bitterness. Nice saison, very tasty.
