Now just called Anniversaire, 6.5%. Pale yellow colour with light haze and thin head. Aroma and floral are super floral and have a pleasant woody vanilla note. Nice juicy tang too.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from BS online. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Light sweet flavour with ample notes of white pepper, lemon peel, subtle funk, pale wood. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further peppery notes, slight woody dryness, vague funk and grass. Nice overall.

On tap at Small Bar, pours a clear/hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of complex wild yeast, rustic notes, and a touch of tart citrus. Flavour reveals a real nice expression of wild bugs, just enough lacto, and lightly tart citrus. Good use of the yeast as usual, creating a balanced, relatively complex buggy saison. Very nice.

Bottle. Online. Also on tap at Shakespeares a while back. Hazed lemon gold with a dense slim white foam. Looks great. Big on the Chardonnay this. It’s got a creamy oaky thing. Soft rye like spice. Lightly yeasty. Light brett. Taste has moderate sweetness up front, getting a tad tea and slightly dry. Fairly clean. Soft rolling carbonation. Light bitter finish. Very decent overall but there’s a little too much sweetness throughout here.

Keg at the Keans Head, Notts get together, 07/07/23. Moderately hazed deep orange with a good sized off white head. Nose is sharp orange, bitter fruits, stoned fruit vibes, damp straw, grains. Taste comprises tangy apricots, hedgerow, sharp citric peel, grass, herb, light yeast esters, white peppery spice, damp wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sharp light puckering close. Tidy.

Keg draught at the Kean's Head. Very light gold. Almost straw. A bit clear with some uneven white head. Funky yeast aroma with gooseberry and hay. Taste is surprisingly sweet with lots of candy sugar and more gooseberry. Spicy in the finish. Slight body with low carbonation. Not overly keen but it's decent enough.

Keg at Keans Head, Notts. Aroma is vinous. Sour. But low key. Hazy dark gold. Thin foamy white head. Medium sour. A dry vinous and citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Bottle from Etre, aged a bit. Clear golden with white head. Fresh citrus, light oaky funk, some minerals, slightly peppery. Light lingering tartness. Nice one!

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the BS online shop. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white topping. Lightly sweet, nice pale wood, strong peppery notes, subtle acidity, mild funk. Light bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Little more sweetness in the finish, soft citric notes, more pepper, white pepper, modest pale wood dryness, restrained funk. Great fun overall, good depth. Excellent.
