Chestnut in colour. A rich, accessible blend of biscuit, nutty and chocolate malt flavours with blackcurrant and citrus hop notes. Romney Best goes very well with a good steak and medium to strong cheeses.

Bottle from Murrays General Goods Shed Canterbury. Clear slight haze amber brown colour lasting beige head. Malty best bitter. Some decent earthy hedgerow hops on the finish. Yes a decent best bitter. Ok condition bit over fizzy on the tongue. Touch of orange fruit.
