Marrón sucia, de mínima espuma, feo aspecto. Aroma a caramelo, terroso y herbal. En boca base bastante acaramelada y contrapunto herbal, con amargor creciente. Cuerpo moderado, bien de gas. Lejos de las mejores de la casa.

Bottle from La Vache Folle. BB 9-17, lote 150704. Copper colour, beige head. Nose is caramel and toasted malts, sour overripe fruity. Flavour is caramel malts, sour fruity, nutty, bit woody. Carbonation is flat. Thin bodied. No hops to speak of. Not my kind of beer.

Bottle @ Øllets Dag, Kolding. Pours nearly clear dark amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt, with notes of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish, bready and malty notes. Bready aftertaste. Nothing special. Hardly a brown ale.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Aroma has nuts, plums and syrup. Rich, fat, syrupy body - clearly an Imperial Brown. Overripe fruits and a little late hops. A lovely sippable strong Brown. 020615
