An unclear orange beer with a thin white head - too hazy for the style. The aroma has powerful notes of straw, combined with lesser notes of malt and yeast - too yeasty and with a weird hop sort for an IPA. The flavor is dry strawy with light notes of citrus, leading to a lightly bitter end - again from the weird hop sort - definately not one normaly used in IPA’s. Why let a German brewer brew an IPA? It doesn’t work in this instance.

(On tap) Hazy, orangey golden with an off-white head. Heavy carbonation. Vaguely hoppy aroma. Medium body with some rather odd notes of almonds and marzipan. Bitter hoppy finish, no real aroma hops. 190506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Cloudy pale golden. No aroma. Sweetish with a hint of paper and metal. Medium bodied, no bitterness. This is an IPA? I believe the brewer has mixed up the recipes...
