16oz can from Shoreline pours a hazy peach orange with some sticky, white head. At first the nose was a little overly fruit, but once it opened up it was quite nice, a blend of stone and tropical fruits, some citrus too with lemon and light herbs. Flavor actually takes a different turn, but still well done, the lemon and orange are there, the tropical fruit is still there, but there was also a significant grassiness which was well represented. Finishes dry and bitter.

Can from Half Time. Pours a murky lighter orange color with a foamy white head and some sticky lacework. The nose is grapefruit and pine, some cracker malt, light spice, and a bit of a pleasant herbal undertone. Nice medium dryness to the close, with an average-plus carbonation to the mouthfeel.

An amber ale with a thick off white head. Ina roma, classy caramel malt with nice hops. In mouth, a good crisp malt with British hops, classic and pleasant. Tap at BCTC 2009.
