Can at Craft Islington – thanks to Fergus. It pours murky dirty gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, heavy oily notes, rather sweet, quite sticky, candy, orange chewits and orange creamsicle. The taste is sticky, oily, chewy, resin, warming alcohol boost, orange creamsicle, heavy sweetness, caramel and sticky booze through the finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Sits a bit heavy on the palate perhaps. Not bad.

Can shared at CBC Islington 30/10/2017. Many thanks to me. A clouded orange coloured pour with a sticky off white head. Aroma is sticky resinous hop, pulped mango, orange rind and toffee, Flavour is composed of sweet, chewy toffee, pine, orange rind, chewy pine needle. Palate is sweet and chewy, moderate carboantion. Little bit old school.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Fergus. Pours very murky gold with a small, foamy white head. Ripe citrus in the nose, some. Read and caramel, orange. Medium to big sweet flavour with moderate piney bitterness, jammy citrus, crackery pale malts. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, sticky, lightly warming, with lots more jammy citrus character. Decent.

Cans at home, 27th and 28th / 10/17. Murky orange amber with a decent light beige head that retains well then thins to a swirl. Nose is mango, over ripe orange, pine, caramel, sticky tropical fruit rinds. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine resin, soft breads, mango, sweet tropical fruits, light spice, papaya, trace of minerality. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sticky hop bite. OK DIPA but at the price point (I paid £7.70 for this and have heard of it being available in the London area from £6.50 to £9.50) it does not deliver considering Cloudwater DIPA's run at around the £6.50 - £7 mark.

Can, takeout from IMBC '17, drunk on the train home. Aroma of zesty orange. Taste is fairly juicy with some good resinous orange & grapefruit with a moderate sweetness. Fairly smooth overall. Good DIPA.

Can. Waimea, Rakau, Wakatu and Pacific Jade hops. Murky gold - orange beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, mildly dry and has a decent fine crispness. Spicy orange and orange peel. Modest ripe mango. Pine. Spicy pink and yellow grapefruit. Some citric pith and peel. Hops spicy finish. Didn't get the NZ hop character much but it hardly matters - plenty of hoppy goodness going on.
