Here in Kent, we brewers brew Kent Green Hop ales, fetching freshly picked and undried hops from the growers during the harvest, in September, and rushing back to the brewery to capture the spirit of the season in the day’s brew. These beers are the freshest beer can get, truly of place and season, and they taste divine.

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Shiny naked surface, clear warm golden body, dotted spots on the glassware. Appealing floral nose. Fine taste of biscuit and lemony hops followed by resinous bitterness to the finish. Nice, clean, and refreshing (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Smooth malts, moderate sweetness. Decent tangerine hops with supporting lemon and grapefruit. Light floral bitterness. Dry finish. Tasty.
