Tap at the source in Ramsgate, England. A bit hazy golden pour, bubbling foam. Nose: fresh grass harvest, weed, incense a bit. Very intensive! Mouth: clean pale body, sweet grassy notes! Great one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Membranously lacing, snow white, slowly dissipating, frothy head, lightly hazy deep orangey golden robe. Pleasant aroma of biscuit or even ’roux’, sweet clover and other field flowers, dried lemon zest, dried apricot, melting butter, bitter honey, dried grass, some green tea. Soft fruity onset, apricot and unripe pear accents, touch green berries, softish carbo, pleasantly biscuity malt sweetness in the middle with a lightly grainy edge, evolving into a hoppy finish, thoroughly but not harshly bittering, bit tonic water-like and very floral, touch herbal too, with juicy malt sweetness piercing through; very quenching. Classically conceived English bitter with IPA-ish traits, in which the East Kent Golding come to full glory. I love this type of old school English ales if they are well made, and that is certainly the case here.

Cloudy pale amber colour, small foamy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma is malty, peach, apricot, straw, barnyard. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, fruity, malty, spruce, long duration. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, dry bitter finish, herbal and earthy notes, bit husky. Difficult to rate, has good bitterness but there is a hint of vomit in its taste that I don’t like. --- Beer merged from original tick of Green Hop Ale on 18 Dec 2015 at 23:00 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5.5 | Flavor - 5.5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5. Bouteille 50cl, merci Piere T. BB 09/2015.
