For over 125 years Genesee has been an American icon. Today, every can, bottle and pint glass delivers the same full taste and quality that made it famous in 1878. Brewed with six-row barley malt, corn grits and hops from the Yakima Valley, Genesee Beer will forever be a classic.

On tap at the bar across the street from My Airbnb in Schenectady. Crystal clear deep yellow with a thin bubbly white head. Earthy grainy corny notes not the worst beer I had on this trip but far from the best.

Can, malty fruity skunky aroma, malty fruity vanila flavor with a coarse unpleasant bitterness. Just your usual usless macro lager.

Another after hockey beer.
Reviewed from notes.
With this one, I’ve mainly only ever had this out of the can, but there were a couple times I was inquisitive enough to sport several home to see what they looked like and that has always been a pint glass.
The appearance was a clear yellow color with no head ever. A vast array of rapidly rising carbonated bubbles were seen rising.
The smell was basically nothing. I’ve never gotten anything from this.
The taste was metallic and somewhat corn sweet. There’s a metallic aftertaste with no finish.
The palate, it sat exceptionally light.
Overall, well, I don’t drink this anymore and I’ll leave it at that.

24oz can from a 7-11 in Hamburg, NY. Pale straw with a ring of white head; grainy aroma; thin with a sweet body; and little in the way of hops. OK if cold and wet is enough for you.

Mmm... an American classic. 24 ounce tallboy from Bruisin. Smells a bit like ham when I pour it. Pours a pale golden color with a large fizzy tan head. Poor head retention. Aroma of grain, a mild salty, hammy note and a weak attempt at hops. The taste is corn, grain, green apple. Thin, watery, high carbonation.
