Tap at Borefts’14: Clear red colored brew with an slightly tart dry taste of the used berries. Good Radler, better than the commercial ones.

Tap at Borefts 2014. Pours deep dark hazy red with a thin white head. Aromas of tart blueberries, some yeast. Taste is tart blueberries up front, slight tight raspberry-notes, pretty yeasty and short-lasting taste in general. Meh.

No head, nice reddish color. Aroma is slightly sour-ish fresh, red berries, sorrel, raw rhubarb, berry skin, hints of blueberries. Taste is slightly dry grassy, berry skin, sour red berries, grass, dry sour blueberries, hints of citrus acid. Little bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.

On tap @ Borefts 2014. Looks really nice this. Deep pink, almost a little purple in the glass with a small bubbly white head on the top. Nose vise it has a nice citric sharpness. Is it brett in this? Citric berries, could be a blue one, but for me it's more like raspberries . Lemon juice and grains. Nice aroma. Really lightdrinkable. Like a thin watered down Blueberry lemonade. Really lightdrinkable as mentioned and not a bad one at all this. 26.09.2014

Draught Small pink head; clear, red to terracotta coloured beer. Faint fruity nose, and a slight bakery/oil nose, as from cake or frying oil. Very perfumey flavour, soup-y, berries. Tart, dry-out effect, excellent rince-palate. Good, if a tad (too) perfumey. Maybe a bit more fruit necessary?

From tap. Pours cloudy amber to red with a small pink head. Aroma is tart and wooden, farty blueberry. Fruity, light herbal. Dry and citric. Smooth citric and fruity into the far finish.

Keg at Borefts day1 26/09/2014. Bodegraven. Hazed light purple coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is earthy woody, light yougurt, blueberry yougurt and a little fruit. Flavour is composed of light tart blueberry fruit, light tartness, some wood, blueberry yougurt funk. Palate is nice and fresh, light tart, highish carbonation. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli ’14, Bruxelles. Couleur acajou trouble presque pourpre, sans col. On reprend la même base de la Berliner avec un ajout de myrtilles. Fruit que l’on peu associer comme contribuant à un ajout suret au niveau de la bière. Ici, le tout tombe un peu à plat car la bière souffre du même maux que sa consœur Berliner à savoir un profil trop proche du moût sans offrir le caractère lactique d’une vraie Berliner. Certes la couleur pourpre est jolie et le profil des myrtilles est là, mais le côté BW reste trop en retrait. La myrtille a le mérite de relever cette bière. L’idée est là, mais manque juste un peu dans l’exécution.

Draught @ 6th Borefts Beer Festival 2014, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Mont Saleve Blueberries Radler Sour ].Hazy - murky matt medium red color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, baking yeast, berry, blueberries. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, blueberries, berry, baking yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140926]
