From tap at Salt Horse, Edinburgh. Strong Sauternes BA influence, malt, raisins, alcohol, more red wine, touch of vanilla, toffee, grape. Moderate to medium sweet, hint of tartness, bit boozy. Complex and damn tasty.

Bottle at home, 10th November 19. Pours pretty much clear, dark orange, slight emergence from the bottle on open. Aroma is brett, citrus, caramel, rose. Taste is funky, citrus, caramel, smooth and very interesting and the bretty funk tempers any sweetness.

Bottle, by way of a trade. Slow gusher. Hazed amber colour. Thick and fairly tight, lasting, off white head. Nose has light, lemony brett. Vanilla ice cream. Fresh cut oak. Wine dregs. Green leaf. Custard malts. Taste has a lovely balance of bretty bitterness and oaky, vanilla sweetness. Medium body. Pretty slick and creamy. Foamy carbonation. Never feels the 11%. Lingering lemon and oak on the finish. Bonkers. Great stuff.
