Old rating - On cask the first occasion I came across it, in the Farmer's Inn, St Ouen. Also had a bottle in my home on 28-09-2017. Different bottle in my home 1486. Quite a heavy ale, and one of my least favourite from the Liberation range

Fra flaske på RBHD-samling hos Asle Bjørn, okt-18: klar kobbergylden med ok skum. Behagelige jordaktige toner fra de engelske humlene. Mild bitterhet med fin bærsyre i avslutningen.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, October 2013. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Malty beer, with some hedgerow fruits, a touch of grassy hops and decent, bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Kings Highway, Inverness, 20/10/13. Clear copper golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is on the thin side, toasted malts, light fruit, grass. Taste comprises light caramel, faint hop profile, toasted malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, light bitterness in the finale. Looks good, feels good, lacks any depth at the business end - Ultimately a Miss !
